Amanda Lockhart is the founder of Canada Security Collective, a national initiative dedicated to connection, training, and community in the Canadian security industry.
With over 15 years of experience spanning operations, physical security, and technology, Amanda has built a career by listening closely, learning quickly, and leading with empathy. Her journey into security wasn’t linear—like many, she found herself in roles without a roadmap. That experience shaped her belief that no one should have to navigate this industry alone.
Amanda has the ability to turn vision into action. She’s led national initiatives, built a variety of programs, and designed events that bring people together across sectors and silos. Her work is grounded in lived experience and driven by a deep commitment to inclusion, mentorship, and practical support.
Through CSC, Amanda is building what she wished had existed when she started out: a space where professionals at every stage - seasoned leaders or new to the industry - can find guidance, community, and a sense of belonging.
She's currently building CSC full-time, supported by a growing network of contributors and advisors who share her vision for a more connected, respected, and future-ready security industry.
