Canada Security Collective (CSC) is a national professional association and community platform dedicated to empowering the people, organizations, and future of Canada’s security sector.

We support professionals across physical security, cybersecurity, IT, and leadership—connecting them to resources, relationships, and recognition. CSC is a catch-all resource: not because we offer every service, but because we connect people to the ones we’ve vetted, trust, and believe in.

We’re building a movement that reflects the heart, complexity, and potential of the security industry in Canada.

Our Vision

We believe security should be recognized as a vital, respected pillar of Canada’s professional landscape. The industry is evolving rapidly, and keeping up can be challenging. CSC exists to help professionals stay connected, informed, and supported as the landscape shifts—and to raise the standard so that security is seen not just as essential, but as exceptional.

  • We’re gathering recommendations and reflections from across Canada. Please share:

    • Security service providers—including integrators, consultants, technicians, and other professionals who consistently deliver excellent work
    • Security-related subcontractors—including locksmiths, electrical subcontractors, and other tradespeople who are regularly called upon to support security installations, upgrades, and maintenance. If they’re part of how the work gets done, we want to know about them
    • Manufacturers—we invite you to share contact information for each region so we can help connect professionals to your products
    • Safety training providers—we welcome a range of options, knowing each company may have different needs
    • Consultants across physical, cyber, and operational security
    • Any other professionals or services that support the security industry and deserve recognition
    • Your feedback—we’re exploring peer-led reflection circles to review our messaging and hear what resonates, what’s missing, and what you’d like to see more of
    • Community connections—we’re looking for local organizations, initiatives, and programs that could benefit from being seen by the security industry, need funding, or are supporting youth in meaningful ways. These are some of our focus areas, but we’re open to more—especially if it helps us build bridges and give back
    • Coworking spaces and conference venues ideal for meetings, training, or networking
    • Restaurants and hospitality spots that make hosting or connecting easier

    We’re also working towards a categorization system for professional services—so members can find trusted providers for:

    • Local vs. national work
    • Small vs. large projects
    • Simple vs. complex jobs

  • We’ll soon be releasing a CSC Involvement Package with:

    • Volunteer roles—from event support to strategic representation
    • Thought leadership opportunities
    • Investment and partnership pathways
    • Youth engagement tracks for students and recent grads

  • CSC Membership launches in 2026. While there will be a cost, we’re committed to accessibility:

    • Expense it through your organization
    • Pay for it personally
    • Or volunteer your time to offset the cost
